I have three cats that share a litter box and one of them is a very large cat that is half Maine Coon. The filters are alright but as expected need to be changes very often. I have ended up simply using paper towels instead of the filter to catch any urine that hit the top of the box.
IMPORTANT TIP: Make sure you are getting the right size. I have the Booda Dome Cleanstep Cat Box and these filters are too small!

I have a different Booda Box for my cats, but accidentally got a bunch of these on clearance. Instead of lamenting, I found that they fit my ceramic compost pail perfectly and are much less expensive than the ones sold for the compost pail.
That's all- I just wanted to post that information for anyone looking for a cheaper alternative than the brand made specifically for the compost bin.

Loved it! Would recommend the whole Booda system to any cat owner.It does help cut down on odors. Have used the product for years.

I can no longer find these in stores. If you have a Booda Dome kitty litter box, this is a must! It really helps get rid of unpleasant odors. You may want to double check on the size though. I think that they sell two different sizes. I got the wrong size (smaller filter), but it still fits and does the job.

I highly recommend the air filter for the Booda Dome Cat litter boxes. We are a multi-cat household and these filters definitely making a difference in controlling odor. I usually change every few months to ensure they are still working. If you don't have air filters in your Booda Dome currently or have old ones try it-they make a huge difference.
