"What a waste of money..." Oct 20, 2010
By CatLadee First let me start by saying that the shipping time for this product was absolutely phenomenal! However, the product itself was a complete waste of money & soo not worth the cost to ship it. Don't get me wrong; I understand that you get what you pay for, & I totally expected the product to be cheap, but at the very least I expected it to be the chrome version of the $2.00 plastic kitty scoopers at say Walmart or Target, give or take. What I got was a flimsy, thin, poorly made as I don't know what (cheap is a severe understatement) kitty scooper that has no durability, is easily bendible, & doesn't really scoop & sift because the scooping part is not cupped like a normal kitty scooper...it's more like a long-handled spatchula, if one can imagine that.
Before I made my purchase I did read the reviews, however I'm not sure which products the previous buyers recieved...it couldn't possibly have been this one. In a nut-shell, save your money, go to the store, pet supply place, or where ever & make a worth-while purchase.

Not durable any more Jun 13, 2009
By Grieger I used to swear by these scoops. They had the right shape and were thin enough that you could be in and out of the cat box in no time. I'd tried ones that were made from thicker steel and different shapes but they all had problems (too flat, handles not strong enough). This one did the job great.
Thing is recently these scoops have been falling apart on my in no time. The joint connecting the scoop to the handle has been breaking (there are two connections and one's been breaking). And, the scoop itself has been bending after maybe a couple weeks of use (I've got a couple of cats so I'm doing these boxes every other day).
It's hit or miss. The current scoop I'm using is working so far but it's getting close to that two week mark so we'll see. The price isn't bad at all but definitely buy one first and try it out before you decide fully.

The Greatest Pooper Scooper Sep 11, 2011

I had a similar scoop years ago; but, this one is better because it has a handle on it. It is longer than most scoops which helps your back a lot. It is a strong metal; but, can be bent in the spoon part so you don't have to bend over as far. The slits are narrow enough to hold just about everything but lets the sand fall through. I have tried many styles of scoopers and find this one is the best one yet.

Stainless steel litter scoop May 15, 2011
By catman This stainless steel metal scoop works a lot better than the cheap plastic scoops, and for the price you can't beat it.
Save your money May 06, 2012
By Ryan As others have noted, you get what you pay for. This cat litter scoop is worth as much as the cat crap is picks up. It is flimsy and bends far too easily. I liked the look of it but this faux-chrome is just not good at all. It also took AGES to get to me even though I am a Prime customer and I was supposed to have it the same week. I got so tired waiting on it that I went to my local Target and bought a cheaper, sturdier, larger (all around better) one...and by the time I got this one I felt like throwing it out with my cat crap. Maybe I'll use it to flip burgers on my Foreman grill because that might be the only thing it is good for
