Good info, but there are better choices Jan 27, 2011

I have been very impressed by the book by the same name. Wanting to share this info with younger family members who wouldn't be motivated (&/or able) to read it, I ordered the DVD. The info was good. However, it was rather dated in presentation & style, & a bit slow for our modern kids. My Smart Puppy My Smart Puppy: Fun, Effective, and Easy Puppy Training (Book & 60min DVD).) seems to be a better choice, as the DVD is included with the book, providing two bright resource at less expense. (But the book How to Raise a Puppy You Can Live Withis still great even if the style is dated. The info is well done, especially regarding the very young puppy.
