My bulldog & girlfriend both love this food! Nov 11, 2011
By Manuel Cortinas

Don't make the mistake of thinking I meant that my girlfriend eats this as well... LOL The way the food is designed to help keep it in his mouth instead of all over the floor is just great. She just loves the fact that she does not have to clean up after Blaze tears through a bowl of it!
As for flatulence... Sometimes this dog farts so loud people turn and look at me like I have some sort of problem! I stopped trying to explain that it's the breed since they usually don't stick around very long due to the horrid aroma that exudes from his anus... After switching to Royal Canin, I noticed him put on a few extra pounds of lean weight. His coat also picked up a great shine to it.
All in all I will say the price is a little high, but you know the old saying "you get what you pay for". If you decide that a bulldog is the dog for you then at least do him a favor and get him this food!
My dog weighs 55lbs. & is 4 yrs old #30lbs usually lasts about 1 1/2 months

Royal Canin Keeps my Bulldog Running and Happy Apr 22, 2010
By R. J. Watson I had concerns that Royal Canin had changed the Bulldog formula too much. However, after comparing the old ingredients to the new ingredients I decided to stay with Royal Canin. I gradually switched to the new food the switch was successful. My bulldog did have a day or two of gas during the switch, but that is no longer a problem. Will purchase again because my bulldog's coat looks beautiful and she loves the food. I also use softened Royal Canin as training treats during our walks.

Best Food for My Bulldog Sep 12, 2010
By fpardo87 After going through Blue Buffalo and Eukanuba, we finally settled on this food after my Bulldog's gas pretty much completely stopped after about 3 days on Royal Canin. My 1.5 year-old Bulldog has been on this food for about 8 months (Royal Canin Medium Puppy before then but after the other brands). It is so nice to have a non-flatulent Bulldog! Her coat is shiny and smooth. She has never had any hotspots or allergies. I started her off before Royal Canin supposedly switched recipes (red and white bag to gold bag) but did not notice any reactions from my Bulldog to the new recipe. If you abide by the recommended feeding amount on the bag, you should have a nice, lean bulldog and you can avoid the medical issues and vet bills that accompany overweight Bullies. I highly recommend this food as it keeps my dog healthy and active!

Great for your Bully! Aug 16, 2010
By Super Our dog loves it. Easy for her to pick up this food. She had an allergic reaction to her previous food although she had been on that food for some time without any problems. She broke out with bumps all over her back. The breeder told us that she had experienced this also and told us to try this food instead and it worked. It is definitely worth the cost.

Daisy The Bulldog Loves Royal Canin May 11, 2012
By David J. Roth Daisy very much enjoys the Bulldog 24, it agrees with her digestive system. She still has flatulance, but much less than with her previous food. Would suggest use to fellow English Bulldog owners.
